SDMS Grabber can be installed on your local machine following the installation wizard. The installation file is available in the wizard by clicking on the Install Documents Grabber link.
>> To install Grabber
1. | Open the Advanced tab in the application at path Utilities > SDMS Admin. |
2. | Click the Install Documents Grabber link and run or save the executable installation file to your client machine. |
3. | Depending on whether you run the executable file from the server or save it, click Run or double-click the executable file to launch the installation wizard. Review the warning message and click Next to continue. |
4. | Select an installation folder in which to install the file. You can accept the default or use Browse to navigate to a folder location on your machine that is different than the one specified by the wizard. You can also click the Disk Cost button to view the available space on your computer disks. |
5. | After specifying the folder location, select the computer user for whom the Grabber application will be available: select Just me to be able to use the Grabber exclusively, or Everyone to let users logged using a different account use the Grabber, too. Click Next to continue. |
6. | Confirm the installation by clicking Next to continue to install the file. A progress bar indicates the installation is progressing. |
7. | Upon completion of the installation, a confirmation message is displayed. Click Close to exit the wizard. |
8. | Refreshing the page will display an indication that the Grabber was installed. The link is disabled (grayed out). |
