Recognition Anchors

DRPRecognition Anchors define the boundaries of the mandatory areas in a document such as graphs and tables. Anchors also mark the end of the parent (first) sections in multirun documents as shown in the diagram below.

 

Anchors are mandatory for images and some types of tables as they define the point where the system should "start looking" for these objects. In cases where anchors are not defined manually by the user, the system tries to detect an appropriate keyword and define it as the anchor for that object, such as a graph or table.

To create an anchor, click on the Anchor button in the Toolbox and paint the section in the document that you want to define as an anchor. For example, to define anchors for a table, paint the object situated immediately above the table, and then the first object after the table ends. When the file is scanned, these anchors will be used by the algorithm to identify the start and the end points of the table.
