SDMS allows full traceability for document revisions and complies with 21 CFR Part 11. According to each specific document workflow configuration, a new revision of a document can include the activity which occurs to the document while maintaining the original events in the audit trail log. Then a detailed document workflow audit trail is attached to a document. The audit trail and electronic signature record remain attached to the document for the duration of the document's life cycle.
