You can add, edit, or remove ELN documents using either the SDMS Admin or the Method Manager applications. >> To configure ELN documents using SDMS Admin
1. | If you are not already logged onto the LIMS application at path Utilities > SDMS Admin, log on as a user with role access to that application and open it. |
2. | Click the ELN Documents tab. |
3. | To add an ELN document, click Upload. |
a. | In the File Name dialog box, click the browse ... button. |
b. | In the resulting dialog box, you can navigate to the folder containing the document that you want to upload. |
c. | After you locate your SOP or other procedural document, highlight it and click Open. |
d. | From the DRP drop-down list, you can select an ELN pattern if available. The pattern that links the document's sections to ELN sheets will be applied when the ELN is displayed. For more information about ELN patterns, see the next section ELN Patterns. |
e. | Optionally, type a comment. |
Click OK.
4. | To edit an ELN pattern associated with a document, highlight the document and click Edit. The document appears in the ELN Template Designer window where you can edit it, if necessary. |
5. | To remove a highlighted ELN document, click Manage Versions, and then click Delete Version. |
