ELN patterns link sections of the document to the sheets in the ELN to which the section applies. This allows for easy navigation as the procedure is followed during completion of the electronic notebook.
The ELN Patterns tab lists patterns applied to ELN documents.
| • | ELN patterns are configured in the context of a particular SOP or procedural document. |
| • | Typically they are also configured to link to sheets in a particular ELN. |
>> To use ELN patterns
| 1. | If you are not already logged onto the LIMS application at path Utilities > SDMS Admin, log on as a user with role access and open it. |
| 2. | To display ELN patterns, click the ELN Patterns tab. |
| 3. | To remove a highlighted ELN pattern, click Manage Versions, and then click Delete Version. |
| 4. | If you want to create an ELN pattern, typically you would create the pattern in the context of an ELN using the ELN Template Designer window.
